Ruben is the Garfield Bulldogs JV baseball coach. He first coached at GHS from 2017 to 2021, returning in 2026 to lead the JV team. Ruben also coached Baden 14U in 2021 and Paradise Valley High School in Paradise Valley, AZ from 2023 to 2025

Ruben played at GHS for Coach Chris in his senior season. In his words: Coach Chris was the one who got me into coaching when I returned to Seattle. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity! Besides baseball, Ruben is also an Assistant Golf Professional with aspirations of becoming a PGA Professional.
